HARMONY ZEN

“Less is more” – Ludwig Mies van der Rohe

The interior, designed for a family that values natural materials, is a space that fosters a deep connection with nature. The couple, who lived in the United States for many years, had clearly defined expectations— the primary goal of the project was to use only natural, high-quality, and durable materials, free from toxic substances.

The space is characterized by minimalist elegance with meticulously refined details. A distinctive feature of the project is the effect of floating walls, which lend the interior a sense of lightness and spaciousness. Window panels seamlessly connect the interior architecture with the surrounding environment, while carefully selected lighting subtly highlights the texture of the materials.

Wood, stone, and other natural raw materials dominate the space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Light-colored wooden floors enhance the sense of openness without overwhelming the space. In the living room, a table designed by the homeowner specifically for her son provides a dedicated area where he can play and create while remaining close to his parents.

The color palette is muted, featuring shades of beige, brown, and white. Furniture, such as sofas, armchairs, and chairs, embraces modern forms while being carefully chosen for both style and comfort. There is no place for plastic accents in this interior, and technology has been seamlessly integrated—such as state-of-the-art household appliances that combine functionality with aesthetics, complementing the natural character of the space.

The result is a cozy yet refined and highly functional home, infused with a touch of Scandinavian minimalism—where comfort, simplicity, and respect for nature come together to create the perfect living space for the entire family.
