LAVA

“The earth has music for those who listen.” – George Santayana

The house project for a married couple is located in a charming village near Warsaw, in a picturesque area surrounded by a forest. Large glass windows provide the residents with constant contact with nature, while the high ceilings enhance the sense of space and freedom.

The heart and inspiration of the entire project are the spectacular Tom Dixon Melt Pendant Gold lamps, which we placed in the central part of the living room. Their organic, irregular shape and golden hue evoke the image of flowing lava, creating a unique atmosphere of elegance.

We designed the spacious living room with comfort in mind. It features a comfortable sofa with armchairs, complemented by tall built-in furniture finished with natural dark walnut veneer. Within these built-ins, we incorporated two large black niches with LED lighting, perfect for books and decorations. Right next to the sofa, we placed a fireplace, emphasizing the cozy character of the interior. The television is subtly integrated into the built-in structure so that it does not dominate the space but harmonizes with it.

The master bedroom is an oasis of tranquility, kept in a soft, bright palette. Green accents, such as a decorative circle on the wall behind the bed and a niche next to the television made of natural Avocadus quartzite, subtly reference the surrounding nature.

Throughout the project, greenery plays a key role, creating a bridge between the surrounding forest and the home’s interior. The presence of green elements in the rooms has a relaxing effect, reduces stress levels, and enhances mood and concentration. As a result, the interiors are not only aesthetically pleasing but also contribute to the well-being of the residents.

The entire project combines modernity, elegance, and functionality, with its soul defined by the iconic Tom Dixon lamps, which introduce a unique ambiance and serve as the true jewelry of this space.
